What education or values are taught by these dubious God-men?

What happened today in Panchkula, Chandigarh and Sirsa after Baba Ram Rahim was pronounced guilty by the Court was a tight slap on so called Hindu God-men who claim to be next to God or sometimes God themselves but in reality they are just another conman.

Goons were deployed to destroy public property and spread fear among the common man with the aim to prove that Baba Ram Rahim is above any kind of law & order. What a bull shit? With this unlawful ruckus, a person wants to pressurize the government to accept him as he is and squash all the charges put forth against him.

If government bends before this then this will lead to create 1000 more such self-made heroes (or villains should we say) who will create many more such heinous crimes.

I personally don’t know the truth behind the conviction so I am not blaming him or declaring him a criminal. My only concern has been the reactions shown by his followers. These are the followers who were taught to be calm, love everybody, leave all evils and live peacefully. These followers proved that they have learnt a big ZERO.

One more thing has been proved that Baba Ram Rahim is not connected with any God nor he has any super power otherwise he should have taught peace and harmony to his followers.

On his name, more than a dozen people have died believing him to be God. Now what will happen to their families? Even all the words will fall short in disgracing these riots and it’s after effects. Just imagine the plight of the families living in those areas where riots happened, how they might have spent hiding in their homes believing their end is at their doorstep. I am feeling very angry but not on these babas, rather on these illiterate followers who make them heroes.

It’s high time now. Government should take strict action on all the conmen acting as the messenger of the God befooling people and playing with their emotions. Educating people, particularly students at a young age, to be careful about these false gurus will create awareness among the people. There is required a drastic change in the mindset of the people but this can’t happen unless people themselves decide not to become a toy of false gurus. Without people’s efforts, these false gurus will flourish at rampant rate and further bring disgrace to the society.
