The establishment of Don Bosco School was done in the year 1948. It accepted the CBSE curriculum in the year 2006. It offers education from class KG to Class 12th. It is also considered to be the first school in Guwahati to have adopted modern facilities such as sports complex, Computer lab as well as a meteorological center for observation. It also has a fully ac library which is well stocked with the books required for the students. It is an only school which provides facility of Roller Skating. St Marrys English High School- an all-girls school is considered to be one of the most prestigious schools in North-east. It was formally started in the year 1924 only with a batch of 6 students. In 2008, it also introduced Class 11th and 12th. This school has bagged the highest no. of positions (in state) in HSLC. The school was validated by CBSE in the year 2011. It has a school library (with a total of 4000 books), computer lab, science lab and much more. It has a strength of 60 girls per class. With the establishment of Maria’s Public School in the year 1988, it has now become one of the fastest growing institutions in Guwahati. ‘Learning beyond Classrooms’ is the vision of Maria Public School and believes in the holistic education.
