A plant cell is usually larger in size.It is enclosed by a rigid cellulose cell wall in addition to plasma membrane.and it cannot change it shape.
An animal cell is comparatively smaller in size, It is enclosed by a thin, flexible plasma membrane only ,An animal cell can often change its shape.
A Plant cell have a fixed shape whether an Animal cell do not have a fixed shape. Plant cell have cell wall and an animal cell do not have a cell wall. Plant cell have chloroplast instead of animal cell. Plant cell have vacuoles whereas animal cells do not have vacuoles. In a plant cell, food is stored as Starch and in an animal cell, the food is stored in the form of Glycogen.
A Plant cell is usually larger in size while an animal cell is comparatively smaller in size. Plant cell cannot change its shape whereas an animal cell can often change its shape. A mature plant cell contains a large central vacuole whereas an animal cell often possesses many small vacuoles.
