  1. Nucleosides are glycosylamines that can be thought of as nucleotides without a phosphate group a Nucleosides consists simply of a Nuclebase and a five carbon suger whereas a nucleotide is composed of a nucleobase a five carbon suger and one or more phosphate groups.

    sugar can be ribose or deoxyribose .
    nucleobase can be pyrimidine or purine.
    pyrimidine – cytosine, thymine or uracil
    purine- adenine and gaunine
