The main reason behind this matter is financial conditions of the farmers and their mental illness. Due to rain or other natural calamities or lower production they are not earning enough to provide basic amenities to their families. Though they take loans from zamindars but they are exploited by them. They have much of financial crisis. Zamindars take over their land as they are unable to pay the interest. As a result they have no land to work upon, No money to feed their family. that is why a larger percentage of farmers are suiciding in india
