Kendriya Vidyalaya was founded in the year 1971 and offers education till class 12th. It also has seat reservation for the economically backward students out of the total seats which is as follows- 15% (Scheduled castes), 7.5% (Scheduled tribes), and 3% (physically challenged). The students in class 11th and 12th get admissions in various streams based on the merit list which is the CGPA obtained in class 10th. The strength of the class is 40 students per stream. It is compulsory for all the students take Physical Training. The school has a library which has a collection of over 5000 books for the students.
